I like the idea of having specific weapons more capable than others.
So MP5's, UMP's, and other smaller guns will be at the 330fps limit. Full rifles will adhere to current standards. Bolt action will still work at current standards.
The only difference is a technological update, allowing semi-auto only weapons at a slightly higher fps. Right now, there is no point in getting an AR-10 with real-cap 20 round mags, or getting an SVD.
Also, I want to eventually get M240's that reach out and touch someone, so they can be used as a Weapon Squad in a light infantry company uses them, or mountable on a vehicle (HMMWV, not civilian H3) and have people afraid of the vehicle when it runs up.
Because besides that, what difference is there in airsoft weapons? Would you rather be shot by an M16 from some guy, or an M240 mounted on a vehicle? In real life, I'd take the M16.
